Hello! On 11/Feb/2015 I received a postcard from the Nerherlands, sent
by Janny. It shows a cute kitten and some spilled milk, everything
encased in an artistic way.

And here is the stamp she used. The other ones are cat stickers, so cute!
Hello! On 11/Feb/2015 I received a postcard from the U.S.A., sent by
Becky. It shows Professor McGonagall, a teacher from the Harry Potter
series. Even though she has never read any of the books, her friends
have and she hopes one day to read them as well.
Back of the card
And here are the stamps she used. I liked that she could squeeze in a Harry Potter stamp too.
Hello! On 6/Feb/2015 I received a postcard from the U.S.A., sent by
Christy. It’s a close-up shot of a California poppy, a popular flower
from that state; it’s a photograph taken by Bill Langton.
Hello! On 6/Feb/2015 I received my first postcard from Hungary, sent by
Barna. It’s a beautiful postcard showing the Buda Castle and the Chain
Bridge in Budapest. The name of the city is embossed on the postcard,
but my scanner doesn’t show those kind of details. I personally think
this is the nicest postcard I’ve ever received so far.
Hello! On 28/Jan/2015 I received a postcard from Germany, sent by Petra. It shows a saying in German: Wenn dir das Leben Zitronen gibt, mach Limonade draus, which translates to when life gives you lemons, make lemonade out of it.
Hello! On 26/Jan/2015 I received my first postcard from Taiwan, sent by Yi-Chun. It shows the fuchsia fairy, from A Flower Fairy Alphabet, by Cicely Mary Barker.
Hello there! Apart from the usual postcards I receive, sometimes
people contact me to swap specific postcards from Peru (because
apparently, my country is an exotic country to receive postcards from);
this is called a direct swap.
This postcard was the first one I received that way, and it was a new
country for me. Even though I don’t remember the exact date, this was
sent to me on 21/Dec/2014 by Xiongfei, from China. It shows one of the
round solar terms, the one translated as “raining”, which is around
February 19th or 20th every year.
Back of the card
There are the stamps he used. This was a prepaid postcard, but since the
postage wasn’t enough, he had to include an extra stamp to cover all
the trip to Peru.
Hello! On 23/Dec/2014 I received a postcard from Russia, sent by
Veronica. It shows some traditional Russian musical instruments, which I
only knew a few.
Hello! On 20/Nov/2014 I received my first postcard from Ukraine, sent by
Andrei. It shows a traditional village in the center area of his
country, unlike Odessa, the big city he lives in.
Hello! On 20/Nov/2014 I received a postcard from Russia, sent by Sergey.
It shows an illustration made by Wolf Erlbruch, and it depicts a
mischievous cat sliding down on a banister.
Hello! On 20/Nov/2014 I received a postcard from Russia, sent by
Tatiana. It shows a beautiful view of northern lights from the Khibiny
mountains in Murmansk, Russia. The name of the place is embossed on the
edge of the postcard, but unfortunately my scanner doesn’t highlight
these kind of details.
