Hello! On 30/May/2015 I received a postcard from Germany, sent by Lisa. It’s a colorful Starbucks flyer turned postcard, with the phrase Hallo Sommer (“hello summer”) on the front. It’s amazing how you can turn something simple into a postcard.

DE-3867079: When life gives you lemons…

Hello! On 28/Jan/2015 I received a postcard from Germany, sent by Petra. It shows a saying in German: Wenn dir das Leben Zitronen gibt, mach Limonade draus, which translates to when life gives you lemons, make lemonade out of it.

DE-3353501: Life is no pony farm

Hello! Sorry for the long absence, university has been very demanding this semester and I got a new job that takes up all my time. But anyway, I need to catch up on this blog, so here we go!

I received this postcard on 21/Aug/2014 and it came from Germany. It was sent by Verena and it shows a pony, along with a saying in German (translated by her): “Life is no pony farm, so you’d better show your teeth if someone tells you something from the horses.”
