Hello there! I received this postcard through direct swap, I received it on 15/Sep/2018 and it was sent by Aise, from Algeria. It shows some views of Tamanrasset, the city he lives in. It's also my first postcard from his country.

This postcard came in an envelope, so I also got a cover from his country.

{DIRECT SWAP} [LOCATION #73] Timbuktu, the mysterious village

Hello there! On 18/Jun/2018 I received my first postcard from Mali, a country in West Africa. I learned you can get a postcard from this far-away place, courtesy of Postcards from Timbuktu, run by Phil Paloetta. I managed to get one from me, and it arrived within a reasonable time.

Hello there! I received this postcard through an indirect direct swap (person 1 offered to ask person 2 to send me this postcard in exchange for me sending person 1 some postcards); even though I don’t remember the date I received it, this was sent to me on 28/Mar/2016, sent from Mauritius. It’s an aerial view of the island and the sea, and some other views.

[LOCATION #21] CF-22: Typical costume

Hello! On 28/Feb/2015 I received my first postcard from Central Africa Republic and the African continent, sent by Esther. It shows a native girl wearing a folk costume from this country. Before receiving this postcard I had only read about this country in an encyclopedia, so receiving something from such a faraway country is just exciting; one of the most special postcards I’ve received so far.
